Bon alors qu&#8217;apprend on de beau dans cette table ronde ? Eh bien d&#8217;abord que les fans sont en large majorit\u00e9 favorable \u00e0 un monde plus dangereux la nuit.<\/p>\n<p>Terry le souligne tr\u00e8s bien, pour se sentir proche d&#8217;un monde, il faut y avoir quelques rep\u00e8res. Et quel que soit le type de monde, le fait que l&#8217;on se dise que l&#8217;on a plus de chances de se faire d\u00e9foncer la tronche semble plus vraisemblable de nuit que de jour.<\/p>\n<p>Stop tout de suite aux brises-burnes qui vont me sortir que l&#8217;aspect &#8220;vraisemblable&#8221; dans un jeu d&#8217;Heroic-Fantasy (pardon ; un jeu m\u00e9di\u00e9val fantastique pour les puristes) on s&#8217;en fout et ceci-cel\u00e0. NON on ne s&#8217;en moque pas !<\/p>\n<h2>L&#8217;intelligence artificielle \u00e0 la rescousse.<\/h2>\n<p>Alors ok, Terry est on ne peut plus clair ; la nuit sera diff\u00e9rente du jour. C&#8217;est promis, jur\u00e9, crach\u00e9. MAIS ; parce qu&#8217;il y a un mais, on ne va pas pour autant nous balancer des tonnes de mobs qui vont nous poper dans les pattes comme de l\u2019acn\u00e9 sur le front d&#8217;une Juliette sans son Rom\u00e9o. Loin de l\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Le principe est que chaque zone sera peupl\u00e9e de mobs ou de personnages particuliers. Certains seront diurnes, d&#8217;autres nocturnes, certains se livrerons \u00e0 des activit\u00e9s peu recommendables la nuit parce c&#8217;est une p\u00e9riode plus propice pour eviter l&#8217;attention des gardes, etc. C&#8217;est l&#8217;intelligence artificielle qui va g\u00e9rer tout cela.<\/p>\n<p>Il est m\u00eame possible que certaines zones soient plus s\u00fbre de nuit que de jour. Tout d\u00e9pendra du contexte.<\/p>\n<p>Une chose est certaine par contre, et ce n&#8217;est pas moi avec mon druide humain dans Everquest qui m&#8217;en plaidrai : Pas de black-out absolu lorsqu&#8217;on est humain et que l&#8217;on sort se faire une balade lors d&#8217;une nuit sans lune.<\/p>\n<p>Au d\u00e9but ca surprend mais tr\u00e8s vite ca lasse de se manger les murs, les portes, les arbres, les ours et autres obstacles plus ou moins l\u00e9taux.
